About The Position

ERP International is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to support the Pediatrics Clinic at the 633rd Medical Group, Langley AFB. The nurse provides patient care in collaboration with healthcare professionals and supports clinical quality, cost effectiveness, and compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role includes assessment, education, treatment, supervision of care, referrals, and research to improve practice and patient outcomes. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with eight duty hours between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., including a one-hour uncompensated meal break determined by the clinical department. The position supports care for military members, their families, and retired military veterans.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a college or university accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
One year of nursing experience after graduation, as identified in the task order.
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse, as required in the task order.
Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification, which must be maintained.
Ability to pass a government background check/security clearance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals.
Facilitate optimal outcomes related to clinical care, quality, and cost effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice and with established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.
Perform physical examinations and obtain health histories.
Provide health promotion, counseling, and education.
Administer medications, provide wound care, and perform other personalized interventions.
Direct and supervise care provided by other healthcare professionals.
Make patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and respond quickly in emergency situations.
Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group to inform the healthcare team of plans and actions and provide teaching and education for patients, families, and the organization.
Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
Perform nursing services identified in the task order.
Conduct research to support improved practice and patient outcomes.
