Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Tele (4ST) Full Time Days
About The Position
Manatee Memorial Hospital is hiring a seasonal Registered Nurse for its Med Surg (4ST) unit. The nurse promotes and provides safe, competent patient care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The role demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team and provides patient-centered nursing care. Responsibilities include communicating with physicians and nursing staff about patient needs, administering IVs and medications, and using medical equipment to monitor vital signs. This is a days position with a six-month contract and a seasonal rate of $70 per hour, plus night-shift differential.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of acute care experience.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Florida RN licensure.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
