Registered Nurse - PCU
About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in the PCU on a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM in 12-hour shifts. The schedule includes every other weekend. The assignment is 13 weeks or per assignment. Candidates with one year of experience may be considered, but their profiles require manager review and do not receive automatic offers. Parking permit options are available through CampusParc and may change. The WMC Agency Permit offers 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage with guaranteed availability, at $224.80 per month or $748.58 per 100-day permit. The WB Permit provides weekend and holiday access to the 9th Avenue East and West Garages, 24/7 access to West Campus surface lots (WB/WC spaces), and shuttle service to the medical center, at $16.35 per month. The CXS Permit provides weekend and holiday access to the 9th Avenue East and West Garages and 24/7 access to Buckeye (CX) and West Campus surface lots, at $32.83 per month.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of RN experience; candidates with 1 year require manager review and are not eligible for automatic offers.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- Previous telemetry experience.
- Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips.
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills.
