Registered Nurse Nocturnal
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide life-saving care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. The role offers long-term patient relationships and the opportunity to apply a broad range of nursing skills while caring for medically complex patients in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The position works overnight shifts, either 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. or 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., Monday through Saturday. Nurses must work two Saturdays per month; there are no Sunday shifts. Flexibility is required, including floating to nearby clinics as needed, and training may take place at a clinic other than the assigned home location.
Requirements
- RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
- Flexible schedule, including working two Saturdays per month.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
