Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Trauma
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg Trauma uses critical-thinking skills to coordinate and provide safe, quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse also assists in organizing patient-care activities as assigned. This is a full-time day-shift role. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000, paid over 24 months. St. Mary's Medical Center is a 420-bed acute-care hospital in West Palm Beach and part of the Palm Beach Health Network. It is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a state-designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, among other specialty services.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Registered Nurse program.
- Registered Nurse license.
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification within 90 days.
- NIH certification within 60 days.
- EKG certification.

- Coordinate and provide safe, quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Assist in organizing patient-care activities as assigned.
