About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides and manages patient care in the Endoscopy Center, using the nursing process from admission through discharge. Care is tailored to patients’ developmental age and cultural diversity. The nurse assesses and reassesses patients, develops and coordinates individualized plans of care—including discharge planning and teaching—and directs, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting. The nurse also delegates tasks appropriately based on others’ job descriptions and competency levels.

The position is per diem, with a flexible schedule Monday through Friday. The listed shift is a mixed eight-hour shift. The hiring range is $52.50–$57.50, based on a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week; compensation for part-time or reduced schedules is prorated based on scheduled weekly hours and other stated considerations. A signing bonus may be available, with eligibility confirmed during the interview process.

Requirements

• Current registration by the Board of Registration in Nursing for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• BLS certification, unless a current advanced certification such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP is held.
• Strong interpersonal skills to gather information and build relationships that support collaborative work within the department and across the organization while providing exceptional patient service.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• GI certification.
