About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy Center uses the nursing process to deliver and manage patient care from admission through discharge, with care appropriate to patients’ developmental ages and cultural diversity. The nurse assesses and reassesses patients, develops and coordinates individualized plans of care that include discharge planning and teaching, and directs, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care in the assigned clinical setting. The nurse also delegates tasks appropriately based on job descriptions and competency levels.
Requirements
- Current registration by the Board of Registration in Nursing for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- BLS certification, unless an advanced certification such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP is current.
- Strong interpersonal skills to gather information, build collaborative relationships within the department and across the organization, and provide exceptional patient service.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- GI certification.
