About The Position
The Pillars of Biloxi is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, personalized care to residents. The role evaluates and delivers care according to physician orders, the plan of care, and the nurse’s scope of practice. The RN monitors residents, communicates with residents and their families, physicians, and supervisors, and keeps accurate medical records. The position is full-time on the day shift, with available schedules of 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:40 PM.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- BLS license.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and deliver care, including medication administration, treatments, and ADL care, according to physician orders, the plan of care, and scope of practice.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident activity and ensure quality care in accordance with professional standards and facility policies.
- Communicate with residents, family members, physicians, and supervisors regarding resident status.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records during the assigned unit tour of duty.
- Perform other tasks as required.
