About The Position

Franciscan Health Crown Point is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families. Nurses assess and listen to patients, develop plans of care, and implement, reassess, and evaluate care. This role is in a fast-paced operating-room environment with 10 operating rooms and 1:1 patient ratios. Current openings are for a 0.6 FTE day position. On-call availability within 30 minutes is required; travel is never or rarely required.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited program.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Experience as a nurse is required.
• Must be able to meet the on-call requirement within 30 minutes.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
• Operating-room experience is preferred.
