About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Registered Nurse to provide expert, patient-centered care in Huntington, West Virginia, covering Mason, Putnam, Cabell, and Lincoln counties. The role provides one-to-one care in patients’ homes and combines independent work with support from an interdisciplinary team. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, Friday through Monday. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to external candidates only.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college of nursing.
• Current unrestricted nursing registration and license in the state of practice and state of residence.
• At least one year of nursing practice in a patient care setting.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance in accordance with company policy.
• Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in home health, geriatrics, or another related setting is preferred.
• New nursing graduates may be considered in select markets, depending on program availability.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Create home health care plans aligned with physician orders and patient goals.
• Direct nursing care, including administering medications, treatments, and interventions.
• Provide pain and symptom management.
• Educate and support patients’ families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in the local branch’s on-call rotation as required.
