About The Position
Logan Health Whitefish is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Birth Center team. This role offers the opportunity to provide care across labor and delivery, postpartum, and Level I nursery in a supportive, team-based environment. The Birth Center is located within Logan Health Whitefish, a 25-bed critical access hospital. The department focuses on quality, evidence-based care and is described as a perfect environment to let skills shine. The surrounding Flathead Valley offers abundant outdoor recreation opportunities.
Requirements
- Graduate from school of professional nursing required.
- Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
- Experience in a related unit is required.
- Currently only accepting applicants with prior OB/Labor and Delivery experience.
- RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
- ALS(ACLS) within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Birth Center: Current NRP certification - within six (6) months of hire required.
- EFM certification or EFM instructor status– within six (6) months of hire required.
