About The Position

Logan Health Whitefish is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join their Birth Center team on night shift. This position works a 60-hour per pay period, with a rotating 3-day and 2-day per week schedule, designed to promote work-life balance. The Birth Center is located within Logan Health Whitefish, a 25-bed critical access hospital. The department features five LDRP rooms and emphasizes quality, evidence-based care. The area, Flathead Valley, offers abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, including skiing, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, and proximity to Glacier National Park.

Requirements

Graduate from school of professional nursing required.
Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
Current AHA BLS certification or ability to successfully obtain within two (2) months of hire.
IBCLC or CLC required for Postpartum Visit Nurse.
Current NRP certification - within six (6) months of hire required.
Minimum of two (2) years postpartum and newborn RN experience required.
An experienced OB/Labor and Delivery nurse.
A calm, confident presence in high-stakes situations.

Responsibilities

Provide care across labor and delivery, postpartum, and Level I nursery in a supportive, team-based environment.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in all areas of the birthing experience.
Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
Participate in a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement, and shared success.
