About The Position

Logan Health Whitefish is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join their Birth Center team on night shift. This position offers a 60-hour per pay period, with a rotating 3-day and 2-day per week schedule, promoting work-life balance. The Birth Center is located within Logan Health Whitefish, a 25-bed critical access hospital. The department features five LDRP rooms and focuses on quality, evidence-based care. The area surrounding Whitefish offers abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, including proximity to Glacier National Park.

Requirements

Graduate from school of professional nursing required.
Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
Current AHA BLS certification or ability to successfully obtain within two (2) months of hire.
IBCLC or CLC required for Postpartum Visit Nurse.
Current NRP certification - within six (6) months of hire required.
Minimum of two (2) years postpartum and newborn RN experience required.
An experienced OB/Labor and Delivery nurse.
A calm, confident presence in high-stakes situations.

Responsibilities

Provide care across labor and delivery, postpartum, and Level I nursery in a supportive, team-based environment.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in all areas of the birthing experience.
Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
