About The Position

Thompson Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Honeoye Family Practice. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position, Monday through Friday. At Thompson, employees are heard, respected, celebrated, and provided with opportunities to advance.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
Current BLS certification.
Five years of recent nursing experience.
Successful completion of the Thompson Health System orientation program during the introductory period.

Nice To Haves

Physician office nursing experience.
Injection administration skills.
Phlebotomy skills.

Responsibilities

Travel to other family practice offices as needed.
Provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in a primary care office setting.
Access data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret information needed to identify patient’s age-specific needs, and provide necessary care.
Ensure accuracy and completeness in charting documentation.
Perform phlebotomy and laboratory testing techniques.
Work without direct supervision while executing provider orders.
Assess patient condition within scope of practice.
Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with office staff and Practice Management.
Exhibit leadership skills by actively supporting practice and system goals and objectives.
Assume responsibility for coordination of clinical staffing needs and laboratory activity.
