Night Registered Nurse - The Mountains
About The Position
Set in the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons, The Mountains Nursing Home provides high-quality nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia, learning disabilities and age-related conditions. We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our friendly night team. At The Mountains, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable and well cared for throughout the night. Working alongside an experienced care team, you'll provide clinical leadership, make informed decisions and deliver outstanding person-centred nursing care.
Requirements
- Holds a current NMC registration with a valid UK PIN
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional nursing care
- Has excellent clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Is calm, compassionate and professional
- Enjoys leading and supporting a team
Nice To Haves
- Experience working within elderly care, nursing homes or dementia care
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans
- Administering medication and treatments safely
- Undertaking clinical assessments and responding to changes in residents' health
- Developing and reviewing person-centred care plans
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to the night care team
- Liaising with GPs, healthcare professionals and families where required
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
- Promoting dignity, independence and person-centred care at all times
