Registered Nurse - Days - The Mountains
About The Position
Set in the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons, The Mountains Nursing Home provides high-quality nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia, learning disabilities and age-related conditions. We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our friendly day team on a part-time basis. At The Mountains, we believe exceptional nursing is built on kindness, professionalism and taking the time to truly know the people you care for. As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a key role in leading clinical care within the home, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and compassionate nursing support. Working closely with the wider care team, you'll help create a welcoming environment where residents feel respected, comfortable and well cared for.
Requirements
- Holds a current NMC registration and valid UK PIN
- Is passionate about delivering high-quality nursing care
- Has excellent clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Is compassionate, reliable and professional
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Nice To Haves
- Experience working within elderly care, nursing homes or dementia care
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans
- Administering medication and treatments safely
- Undertaking clinical assessments and monitoring residents' wellbeing
- Developing and reviewing person-centred care plans
- Providing leadership and clinical guidance to the care team
- Liaising with GPs, healthcare professionals and families
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
- Promoting dignity, independence and person-centred care at all times
