Registered Nurse (RN) - Per Diem
About The Position
Regency Hospital - Minneapolis is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate care and treatment throughout patients’ recovery. The role is based in Golden Valley, Minnesota, and is per diem, as needed, with day and night shifts available. The minimum per diem commitment is four shifts in a six-week period. Compensation is $48.50. The employer offers an extensive RN orientation program and notes that strong performance may lead to potential full-time opportunities.
Requirements
- Valid state RN license.
- BLS certification required at hire.
- ACLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
