About The Position
Gottlieb Memorial Hospital is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its 21-bed medical-surgical unit, which specializes in orthopedics and post-surgical patients. The nurse will care for patients ranging from young adulthood through geriatrics. The community-hospital setting offers greater autonomy and opportunities to advocate for patients. The team-oriented unit provides opportunities to manage a wide range of diagnoses and advance nursing skills. This is a 12-hour night-shift position, with an every-third-weekend rotation. A nurse residency program is available for new graduates. Requirements
- Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing; a BSN or ADN is required.
- BLS provider certification accredited by the American Heart Association, required prior to hire.
- Illinois Board of Nursing license, required prior to hire.
- One year of experience is preferred; new graduates are welcome.
