About The Position

This is a Medical/Surgical Telemetry travel nursing contract in Easley, South Carolina. The nurse works onsite on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit and must float to other units or facilities as needed. The schedule is three 12-hour day shifts, 0700–1930, with weekend coverage every other weekend; weekend scheduling may vary based on unit needs. The unit will review first-time travelers based on experience. The role requires Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience, at least one year of experience, and at least one year of EPIC experience. Required certifications are BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, along with an SC RN license. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available. A flu vaccine is required, with no exemptions.

Requirements

Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required.
At least 1 year of experience required to apply; at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience required.
At least 1 year of EPIC experience required.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification required.
NIHSS certification required.
SC RN license required.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; the employer cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
Flu vaccine required; no exemptions.

Responsibilities

Administer medications using the Omnicell medication system.
