About The Position
Rite of Passage is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse at Daytona Juvenile Residential Facility in Daytona Beach, Florida. The nurse is responsible for the health care of the students in the facility and for maintaining student medical files. The role also provides education to staff and students on health issues, first aid, infection control, and emergency procedures. This is an hourly position requiring at least 20 hours per week. The work schedule will be set by the Program Director to best serve the youth. The position offers the opportunity to help create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for youth.
Requirements
- Current Florida Registered Nursing license.
- Two years of previous medical services administration experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide health care to students in the facility.
- Maintain student medical files.
- Educate staff and students on health issues, first aid, infection control, and emergency procedures.
