About The Position

Park Nicollet is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Burnsville Primary Care team. The RN supports a collaborative care team serving a diverse patient population, combining triage and direct patient care to address needs between visits and improve patient outcomes. The nurse uses clinical judgment to provide timely, patient-centered care and works at the top of their license while helping reduce the overall cost of care. The role uses a systematic nursing practice approach—including assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation—in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, scope of practice, professional standards, and applicable organizational protocols and policies. The RN supports multiple areas within the clinic, protects patient confidentiality and rights, and responds to patient care or service concerns. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with varying start and end times between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. This position is 0.9 FTE, or 36 hours per week.

Requirements

Maintain a current Minnesota registered nurse license; Wisconsin licensure is required where applicable.
Maintain current BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines. Online-only courses are not accepted.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Ambulatory nursing experience.
One year of prior nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Triage patient calls, messages, and walk-in needs.
Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, injections, immunizations, and clinical support.
Identify and address care gaps between visits.
Collaborate with providers and clinic team members.
Provide culturally responsive patient education and follow-up.
Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
Support multiple areas within the clinic while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights.
Resolve concerns or complaints regarding patient care or service.
