About The Position

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Cardiology Electrophysiology Clinic. The role provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The clinic is described as a fast-paced specialty offering opportunities to build long-term patient relationships, use nursing skills, and improve patient outcomes. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with day shifts and no weekends or holidays. Experience is credited toward the wage range.

Requirements

• Currently hold an unencumbered RN license in the state where nursing practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; examples include programs accredited by AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care.
• Assess patients and provide patient education and triage.
• Perform other nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interprofessional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge, applying age- and population-specific standards appropriate to the clinical setting.
• Follow the applicable Nurse Practice Act, administrative rules, and professional nursing practice standards and ethics.
