About The Position

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Women's Health Clinic, which provides comprehensive care at every stage of life, including wellness visits, screenings, and specialty care services. The RN uses the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes and planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care. The role is full-time, with weekday hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and no weekends or holidays.

Requirements

• Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program, including programs accredited by AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care.
• Assess patients and provide patient education and triage.
• Provide other nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge, applying appropriate age- and population-specific standards for the assigned clinical setting.
• Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and applicable administrative rules, nursing practice standards, and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
