About The Position
Dexter Healthcare is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses of all experience levels, including new graduates, to join clinical care teams serving local Maine communities. Compensation includes shift differentials of $2.00 to $6.00 extra per hour. Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Current registration and licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, maintained throughout employment.
- Knowledge and practical use of electronic medical records (EMR) and/or solid general computer skills.
- Excellent professional references and successful completion of the Maine State Background Check are contingencies for a job offer.
Responsibilities
- Work with supervising physicians to assess and monitor residents’ needs and provide bedside care.
- Record and track residents’ medical histories, symptoms, and vital signs, and accurately update resident charts and electronic medical records.
- Administer medications and carry out physician-recommended treatment plans.
- Comply with federal, state, and local nursing regulations, standards, and facility policies.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and administrators.
