Weekend Program - Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for pediatric and/or adult care to join its Camden County Skilled Nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality private duty nursing to clients from infancy through geriatric age, with care delivered one-to-one in a client’s home. Nurses travel to one nearby client home on a schedule they choose and build relationships with clients while supporting their progress and milestones. The Weekend Baylor Program offers 16 hours of work paid as 24 hours for eligible Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday shifts. To qualify for the additional eight-hour bonus, nurses must commit to at least 16 hours—two eight-hour shifts—every other weekend with tracheostomy and ventilator clients. BAYADA prepares nurses through paid training beginning on day one, including office, in-home, and online instruction, as well as practice in adult and pediatric simulation labs. Around-the-clock clinical support is available by phone. Nurses use Statewise electronic charting. The RN pay rate range is $32–$39 per hour; a special weekend rate and bonus are also described. Benefits are subject to employment type.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.
- Commit to at least 16 hours (two eight-hour shifts) every other weekend with tracheostomy and ventilator clients to qualify for the eight-hour bonus.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home near you according to a chosen schedule.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide one-to-one private duty nursing care to clients across age groups and diagnoses.
