Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Medicine

Passport Health•Honolulu, HI

About The Position

Passport Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for a travel medicine role in Honolulu, Hawaii. This part-time position offers an alternative to traditional high-pressure hospital and clinic settings, with a focus on autonomous work, specialized travel-health expertise, and one-on-one patient consultations. Nurses receive support from clinical leadership while managing their day-to-day client visits. The role involves advising clients on destination-specific health risks and travel planning, administering vaccines, and supporting clinic operations and occasional onsite corporate wellness or vaccine events. Ongoing travel medicine training is provided. Scheduling is census-based and depends on client demand, which varies by location and season. Passport Health aims to provide 6–12 months of schedule consistency, but hours are not guaranteed in some markets. Availability within set scheduling windows is required, and flexibility—including weekend coverage or work across multiple locations—may increase scheduled hours. Peak travel seasons, typically February through August, generally have higher and more stable volume. The opening is listed at 24 hours per week, with compensation starting at $52.00 per hour. Monday–Friday work is available, and the schedule may include weekly Saturdays.
