About The Position

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Boise Inpatient Ortho/ENT Medical/Surgical team. This full-time role is on a fast-paced, 35-bed surgical unit that cares primarily for post-operative orthopedic patients. The unit serves an increasingly diverse patient population and typically has RN-to-patient ratios of 1:5 and CNA-to-patient ratios of 1:8. Day or night shifts are available. The role offers the opportunity to build clinical skills, develop a schedule that works for individual needs while meeting team requirements, and receive orientation support from a Unit Based Educator. Nurses can also participate in shared governance and shared decision making. Sign-on bonus and relocation eligibility are available for new-hire RNs with at least one year of experience.

Requirements

Nursing degree.
At least 1 year of RN experience.
Current RN licensure from the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered nursing care to patients on the Boise Inpatient Ortho/ENT Medical/Surgical unit, primarily caring for post-operative orthopedic patients.
