About The Position
This is a full-time day shift position for a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool at Atrium Health Pineville, supporting both Mother-Baby and NICU units. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The nurse will utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Minimum one year of both Mother-Baby and NICU experience required
Nice To Haves
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Recommended within 6 months of hire or per local or site-specific policy of standard of care.
