About The Position

This is a full-time day shift position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Float Pool at Atrium Health Pineville. The role supports both Mother-Baby and NICU units. The RN will be responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and clinical decision-making to ensure safe and therapeutic care. The position emphasizes creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum one year of both Mother-Baby and NICU experience required

Nice To Haves

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Recommended within 6 months of hire or per local or site-specific policy of standard of care.
