About The Position

Join the award-winning Orthopedic Unit at St. Cloud Hospital as a Registered Nurse. The 29-bed unit cares for children and adults with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including joint replacements, sports medicine needs, and fractures resulting from accidents or other trauma. The position offers the opportunity to work as part of a team nursing approach at one of Minnesota’s highest-volume joint replacement hospitals. The opening is full-time, 72 hours per two-week pay period, and onsite. Shifts are 12-hour day/night rotations: 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. The schedule includes every third weekend (Friday–Sunday) and rotating holidays. Pay is based on experience and degree, with a stated range of $44.57–$74.37 per hour. Additional pay is available for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Eligible candidates may receive hiring and relocation bonuses, subject to the stated eligibility rules and the employer’s ability to discontinue incentives.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required within three years.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to children and adults with orthopedic conditions, including joint replacements, sports medicine needs, and fractures related to accidents or other trauma.
Support patients through elective procedures and traumatic events, helping them work toward their goals and return to their prior level of functioning.
Participate in the unit’s team nursing approach.
