About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. Using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, the nurse provides, delegates, supervises, and documents patient care and teaching for patients and families. The nurse communicates pertinent patient and family information to the health care team, participates in finding solutions when patient goals vary from expected outcomes, and ensures those solutions are implemented.

This position is 36 hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts. Every-other-weekend work and holiday rotations are required. A full-time benefits package is offered.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Availability to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday rotations.
