About The Position

Jefferson's Medical Progressive Care Unit consists of 28 beds with capabilities for high level cardiac monitoring. Integrated patient care is provided for patients with Respiratory Failure, Heart Failure, and patients that may require bi-pap, chest tubes, and titratable intravenous drips. Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

Responsibilities

The registered nurse provides leadership in a professional practice setting.

Assesses patient reports/records change of condition and notifies physician and/or supervisor and intervenes appropriately and documents accordingly.
