About The Position

Saint Luke's North Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Medical Surgical Unit. The role provides care to patients with a variety of conditions, acuity levels, and treatment plans, including some telemetry patients. The position offers variety in day-to-day work and opportunities to develop nursing skills. The nurse collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and uses the nursing process to provide patient care. The role includes coordinating care for assigned patients, delegating patient-care tasks, supervising other patient-care staff, and consulting with the healthcare team as needed to support optimal patient outcomes. The nurse is expected to demonstrate clinical proficiency and follow applicable policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. The unit has a supportive leadership team, Nursing Assistants, Intensivists and NPs working alongside RNs during shifts, and Respiratory Therapy available at night. Extra incentives are available for picking up additional shifts.

Requirements

Registered Nurse qualification.
Associate degree.
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Less than one year of applicable experience.
