We are nestled in the picturesque New England town of Middlebury, Vermont. Porter offers high-acuity, fast-paced hospital nursing that keeps your skills sharp and your shifts meaningful. Our Med/Surg unit cares for medical, surgical, chronic, and progressive care patients, giving you the opportunity to practice and expand a broad range of nursing skills. We’re also home to a top-tier Birthing Center, averaging nearly 400 births each year, and our close-knit team environment means you’ll always feel supported, appreciated, and empowered to grow. We currently have full-time night and day shift Registered Nurse roles on our vibrant Med/Surg Unit, perfect for nurses who thrive in a dynamic hospital setting and want to broaden their expertise while making a meaningful impact in our community.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
• BLS required
• ACLS required for specific departments
• At least 1 year of hospital RN experience

Responsibilities

• Cares for medical, surgical, chronic, and progressive care patients.
• Practice and expand a broad range of nursing skills.
