About The Position
As an RN in Admissions and Family Relations at Edgewood, you will help ensure residents and their families have a high-quality experience from move-in to move-out. The role involves assessing current and prospective residents, supporting admissions and referrals, completing move-in and renewal processes, and working with families on care. Edgewood Village is a 190-bed Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living community. Edgewood Dominion is a 94-bed Assisted Living and Memory Care community.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Pass a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Passion and drive for helping others.
- Willingness to train new employees.
- Desire to continue learning and improving your skillset.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid functions.
Responsibilities
- Assess current and prospective residents.
- Assist with leads and cultivate referrals.
- Complete move-in paperwork and resident orientation.
- Assist with resident lease renewals.
- Participate in care conferences with families.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory bodies.
- Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies.
- Train new employees.
