About The Position

Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. Uses the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching for patients and families. Communicates relevant patient and family information to the health care team, participates in resolving variances from patient goals, and ensures that solutions are implemented. The position is in Interventional Radiology and is listed for day shift.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred.
• ICU and/or ER experience preferred.
