About The Position

Copper Springs East is hiring a full-time Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a collaborative, supportive behavioral health hospital in Gilbert, Arizona. The role is scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) and four weekend shifts per month. The RN assesses patients, plans and documents care, supports team leadership and delegation, oversees staff adherence to nursing policies and procedures, and administers medication according to hospital policy. The facility serves adults with mental health and addiction treatment needs through inpatient and outpatient services, including psychiatric treatment, medical detox, PHP, IOP, and ECT.

Requirements

• Current Arizona or compact multi-state RN license.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan care within established timeframes.
• Document findings according to policies.
• Demonstrate leadership, including delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, and meal supervision.
• Oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by the RN and the team.
• Administer medication according to hospital policy.
