About The Position

Join Portneuf Medical Center as a variable-shift, PRN Behavioral Health Registered Nurse in Pocatello, Idaho. The Registered Nurse applies knowledge from nursing education and experience to deliver care using the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. The RN responds to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions and organizes care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care, while communicating with necessary providers and leaders on an ongoing basis. Portneuf Medical Center is a 205-bed healthcare facility serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
