About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care for an acute care hospital in Mason City, Iowa. This is a 13-week contract with a 40-hour workweek and a day shift from 06:30 to 15:00. Weekly pay is $3,280 ($82.00 per hour for 40 hours), with a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267 per week where eligible. The start date is November 9, 2026, and there is one opening. VitalHire provides weekly direct deposit and a dedicated recruiter to support the nurse from submission through the final shift. The company also assists with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding. Contract extensions and new assignments are often available.
Requirements
- Active Iowa RN license, or a multistate compact license accepted by Iowa.
- At least 2 years of recent CVOR or cardiac surgery operating room experience, including open-heart cases.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
