About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for the Operating Room - Neuro service at an acute care hospital in Mason City, Iowa. This is a 13-week contract with a day shift from 06:30 to 15:00, working 36 hours per week. The start date is 11/16/2026, and there are two openings. Weekly pay is $2,530 ($70.30 per hour for 36 hours per week). Eligible travelers may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267 per week, based on the GSA FY2027 maximum for this location. VitalHire offers weekly direct deposit, recruiter support through the assignment, help with licensing, credentialing and onboarding, and potential contract extensions or new assignments.
Requirements
- Active Iowa RN license, or a multistate compact license accepted by Iowa.
- At least 2 years of recent Operating Room experience in acute care.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).
