About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse specializing in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for an acute care hospital in Mason City, Iowa. This is a 13-week contract scheduled for 40 hours per week on a day shift from 06:30 to 15:00. The position is expected to start November 9, 2026. Weekly pay is $3,280 ($82.00 per hour for 40 hours), with an eligible housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267 per week. VitalHire provides weekly direct deposit and a dedicated recruiter throughout the assignment, along with assistance with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding. Contract extensions and new assignments are often available.
Requirements
- Active Iowa RN license, or a multistate compact license accepted in Iowa
- At least 2 years of recent CVOR or cardiac surgery operating room experience, including open-heart cases
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
