About The Position

Always Compassionate Health is hiring experienced, dependable, clinically skilled Registered Nurses to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to patients in their homes in Queens, Brooklyn, Nassau, and Suffolk. Nurses follow physician orders, individualized care plans, and agency policies while delivering safe, compassionate, high-quality care. The position pays $45 per hour, offers immediate openings, and has flexible scheduling based on case availability.

Requirements

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license and current registration.
At least six months of home care nursing experience.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans.
Reliable and professional, with a commitment to safe, high-quality patient care.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the assigned case, including lifting up to 50 pounds when required, with appropriate assistance and equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, and agency policies.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments and monitor patient responses.
Perform G-tube/PEG care, tracheostomy care, and suctioning as required.
Provide ventilator care when required and appropriately trained.
Assess patient conditions, recognize changes in health status, and promptly report concerns.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
Educate patients and caregivers about care needs, treatments, and safety practices.
Follow infection control standards and established patient safety protocols.
