About The Position
Always Compassionate Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to patients in their homes in Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island, New York. The position offers private duty cases at $45 per hour, flexible scheduling, weekday and weekend shifts, and immediate opportunities for qualified candidates. Nurses work with a supportive clinical team to deliver care that promotes patient safety, comfort, and dignity.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN license and registration.
- At least 6 months of nursing experience.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Physical examination and QuantiFERON test completed within the past year.
- MMR titers completed within the past 10 years.
- Professional malpractice insurance.
- NPI number.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care and monitor patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Provide tracheostomy and ventilator care, G-tube feedings, wound care, and post-operative care as applicable.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow individualized care plans.
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and dignity.
