Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time Days
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works at Select Medical Rehabilitation Hospital at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, providing care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The hospital serves individuals facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. This is a full-time day position scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., including every third weekend. Compensation is up to $49.00 per hour, with competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements
- Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required at hire.

- Clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers.
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families.
