About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Omaha is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate care and treatment throughout patients’ recovery.

This full-time position is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and is scheduled for 12-hour day shifts. Night shifts are also available. Compensation is $38.26–$51.50 per hour, based on years of experience, plus shift differential. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for full-time day-shift nurses.

Requirements

• Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Demonstrate competence during rapid response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
