About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The RN evaluates patient needs through ongoing assessment and revises care plans when a patient’s condition changes. The position also provides clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma, associate’s degree in nursing, or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, and kept current during employment.
• Ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care and services to patients.
• Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment.
• Revise care plans based on changes in patients’ conditions.
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.
• Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
