About The Position

PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for its new rehabilitation hospital. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit. The RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and access to community resources. The RN may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as a Charge Nurse if ACLS-certified.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
• Current BLS certification; BLS certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
• Evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment; ACLS certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required to serve as a Charge Nurse.

Nice To Haves

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
