About The Position
PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its new rehabilitation hospital. The CNA performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Duties must remain within the limits of the position; the CNA does not administer medications or therapy and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Work is performed consistently with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by the state in which the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
- Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position.
- Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while performing duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
