About The Position
PAM Health Aiken is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its new rehabilitation hospital. Under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, the CNA performs patient care activities and accommodative services within the limits of the position. The CNA does not administer medications or therapy and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties are performed in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines, along with other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
- CNA certification where required by the state in which the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- No experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
- Perform duties within the limits of the position; do not administer medications or therapy or assume independent responsibility for patient care.
- Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
