The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes, providing leadership through orientation, mentoring, and management of team members to ensure compassionate, dignified, respectful, and efficient care delivery. Participation in performance improvement initiatives impacting patient, family, and service outcomes is also expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required for employees hired after 9/1/2020 (those who were hired prior to 9/1/2020 are grandfathered).
  • Current and valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse license.
  • Current and valid BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of standards of practice for all areas of patient care.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities
